SECPay delivers payment solutions for Newcastle Council’s City Hall Concert Venue
Newcastle Council’s City Hall venue prides itself on show-casing the finest acts from around the world, be it rock, pop, comedy or musicals. As part of the Governments plans to take all public services online by 2005, the Council has developed an online box-office (www.newcastle.gov.uk/cityhall ) through which people can book tickets for acts ranging from Paul Weller or the Corrs, to Paul McKenna or Roy Chubby Brown! This online service compliments the existing phone box-office service.
In March 2004, the Council signed leading Payment Service Provider SECPay to process all online credit card bookings. SECPay’s contribution to the Newcastle City Hall site allows the public to pay for tickets quickly and efficiently online without having to be rerouted away from the City Hall box-office website.
