SECPay Premium Service
All merchants with existing arrangements pre-dating 1st October 2006 are already receiving a service level which we have now branded as Premium Service. The re-branding of our core offering as Premium Service enables us to introduce additional services such as Premium+ and SECPay Enterprise Solutions ( further details ). It does not mean any changes to their service, service arrangement or Terms & Conditions for existing merchants. It will just help us build better communications with our merchants and support the development of added value services and alternative offerings.
SECPay Premium+ Service
The Premium+ service provides all the great features available in the premium package but with the addition of SECGuard (see above).
SECPay Premium+ Service comes in three principle choices;
Premium+ 10 £20 monthly service charge plus each transaction charged at 39p
Premium+ 20 £40 monthly service charge plus each transaction charged at 20p
Premium+ 100 £200 monthly service charge plus each transaction charged at 10p
There is a £75 (plus VAT) set-up fee for all Premium+ accounts. For existing merchants wishing to add SECGuard to their current SECPay service the set-up charge will be reduced to £50 and they will be transferred to the Premium+ service
SECPay Enterprise Solutions
Enterprise Solutions are comprised of a range of flexible options that larger merchants can configure to meet their individual business needs.
Normally only available to merchants expecting to process in excess of 5,000 transactions per month, the Enterprise Service features are designed to help merchants speed up, integrate and develop their processing gateway to better fit their specific requirements.
The key ingredients for Enterprise solutions are flexibility and support. SECPay has, what is probably, the most flexible and extensive payment gateway service architectures of any PSP in the UK. We have been able to develop and support a wide range of businesses with a comprehensive, secure and robust service that is unmatched by our competitors. Deferred Payment Processing
The ability to defer the processing of the transaction, pending other actions, such as; additional fraud screening, or the preparation and despatch of goods. Deferring the processing of transactions enables the merchant to manage the processing of authorised transactions in line with their business requirements and has been standard in the SECPay service for many years. Read about changes to the system that could affect you .
SECPay has teamed up with 3rd Man
SECPay have teamed up with the UK’s leading online fraud specialist to provide merchants with fraud risk profiling on all transactions. From 2nd October 2006, Merchants accessing SECNet will see a colour coded range of symbols against each transaction. This will make it easier for merchants to identify at risk transactions. The development represent genuine added value for SECPay merchants and will help them understand and manage their fraud risk more closely. However, It is worth highlighting that a high risk score does not mean that the transaction is definitely fraudulent, it means it is higher risk and that the merchant should treat the transaction with caution. The emphasis being that the merchant should seek additional information and checks to establish the transaction as not being fraudulent before processing it and releasing the goods to despatch.
