January 2005 - SECPay today confirmed its position as one of the UK’s leading online payment service providers with the announcement of record transaction levels for 2004. Throughout the year average transactions increased 35% month on month, with December seeing as many payments processed in one single day, as in the whole month of December 2000.
In what was an incredibly successful year for the company, SECPay also doubled its staff base, tripled its office space, signed a number of high profile new clients to its service and was awarded the internationally recognised quality management standard, ISO 9001:2000.
New clients included top fashion designer Paul Smith, London’s leading listings guide Time Out and the England & Wales Cricket Board.
SECPay strengthened its management team with three strategic appointments. Scott Pender joined as product manager, Clare Bowland as head of operations and Jonathan Stevens as financial controller. Together they will be responsible for the key operations and smooth financial running of the company.
Commenting on the 2004 results, Mark Feingold, managing director of SECPay said: “These senior appointments and the office relocation come after a very successful year for SECPay. By signing these key staff and taking on new larger offices, we’re now in the best possible position to continue our expansion and growth.“
