SECPay understand that Christmas is the most important time of year for retailers. It's the difference between a highly profitable year or not. As one of the UK's leading Payment Service Providers for retailing websites we have invested in our capacity and infrastructure to provide our merchants with the best service available.
We would like to provide your business with extra peace of mind this Christmas by providing you with a low cost back-up service to your existing payment gateway. For just £100 we will provide you with a full back-up payment processing service until 31st January 2008. If you need to switch over to our service we will charge you just 10p a transaction until you switch back. Of course, if you decide to stay with us we will work with you to find a rate that meets your requirements and reflects your volume. There are no catches and no hidden extras - 3D Secure (i.e. Master Card SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and a full virtual terminal for telephone and mail order payments are included as part of the service.
SECNet, SECPay's reporting and merchant interface, is recognised as being one of the best in the industry and our merchant and technical support teams will be on call throughout the festive period to keep providing the high quality of support SECPay is famous for – try us, before your primary payment service provider lets you down.
No hidden charges, catches or contractual requirements. For just £100, you can setup a SECPay merchant account, integrate to our servers, test the facilities and have a failover backup payment processing service capable of processing thousands of transactions a minute.
Our technical cluster is co-locational multi-server with multiple strand connections. It is fully load balanced and mirrored offering one of the most reliable PSP infrastructures in the UK. We use the world leader in DDOS mitigation services and have a freeze on all development work throughout December every year.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for some of our competitors. In Christmas 2005 and August 2007, we received a number of calls from very distressed retailers who had lost their ability to process payments.
Whilst we can respond immediately, the banking infrastructure can't. The result was that some retailers lost up to five days trading while they switched to SECPay.
We are pre-empting this situation by offering key retailers, for whom the loss of even an hour's trading would be significant, the ability to set up a back-up service with SECPay.
Please note: you will need to consult your acquirer regarding the use of your Merchant ID with a different Payment Service Provider. Your acquirer may issue you with a new Merchant ID for this support service.
If you do have to use SECPay, we will only charge you 10p a transaction and will provide you with a service and support infrastructure that we're sure you'll want to keep.
As standard within your Back-up service from SECPay you will be provided with:
SECPay offer a full range of integration options as well as industry leading Support & Service.
