Welcome to the October issue of SECNews for Partners & Resellers. As we gear up for Christmas and for what looks like it will be, once again, a record breaking period for online merchants, SECPay are pleased to announce a whole raft of innovations and new services that will make it even easier for you to assist your customers in choosing SECPay as their preferred payment service provider.
As always we’ve tried to keep the information succinct whilst relevant to you as a partner. More information on most of these initiatives can be found at our website.
Over the course of the next month we will be sending out a partner survey to gain your feedback on how we can better support and grow our relationship with you as a partner of SECPay.
We hope you find the information contained in this newsletter useful, if you have any comments or questions regarding any articles, please send them to marketing@secpay.com

Staff Changes
It is with regret that we announce the departure of our Partner Manager, Kevin O'Neill. Kevin's contribution to the company, and in particular the partner scheme, was significant over the three years he was with SECPay and he will be missed. If you have enquiries regarding the partner scheme the easiest way to raise them is send an email to partners@secpay.com where your enquiry will be dealt with. If you urgently need to discuss a matter with a member of the sales team please call +44(0)8701904136.
Changes to the Partner & SECPay Reseller Scheme
Following a six month review of the SECPay partner scheme, and as a consequence of the launch of the new Starter packages, we are making some changes to the partner scheme. They should have minimal effect of most active partners but are worth drawing to your attention.
Firstly, as previously mentioned in the news about SECPay Starter Packages, these are excluded from partner commission and rebate schemes as they are designed to be ultra low cost and have inclusive transaction fees. The packages have been designed for start-ups and are significantly simplified for both integration and application. Partners that are members of the SECPay reseller scheme will continue to receive their commissions on any new merchants they recruit to SECPay on the Premium, Premium+ and Enterprise Services.
Secondly, we are introducing a minimal requirement that all partners receiving rebates and commissions should provide at least one new merchant to SECPay in the pervious 12 months in order to receive their commissions. In instances where a partner has not provided a new merchant for us in the past 12 months their commissions will be suspended until such times as they bring a new merchant to SECPay, at which point the commissions will be re-instated but not backdated to cover the suspension period. Merchants failing to bring a new merchant to SECPay for 24 months or more will have their partner agreement rescinded and will no longer be considered a partner.
We believe these changes are fair commercial decisions. Which, for most partners that are actively supporting SECPay, will mean little or no change. Partners that have concerns about these changes can raise them by sending an e-mail to partners@secpay.com
